Your wedding website is the best way to share important information about your special day. There are some crucial elements that we recommend including on your wedding website. Key information to note includes the time, date, location and gift registry, but what other information should you include? Well, that's where FAQ's come in!
FAQ's are a fantastic trick to make sure you aren't answering questions repeatedly. If you're wondering what to include on your FAQ page, then keep reading!
Wedding Location
It's important to remember to include your ceremony and reception locations here so your guests can find you easily. If these locations are different we recommend sharing a link to the section of your website that more venue information.
Ceremony/Reception Time
While you may have included the time on your wedding invitations, we recommend including it again on your wedding website. Also note here if you would like people to arrive early.
Dress Code
Wedding attire can be stressful, so make it easier for your guests by specifying what they should/shouldn't wear. It's important to be specific, but not demanding. Don’t tell guests exactly what to wear, but give them suggestions and guidelines.
Weather
Of course you can't tell what the weather will be like on your wedding day but you can take some steps to make sure you're prepared regardless of what the weather does on the day. Advise guests to keep up to date with weather forecasts in the weeks leading up to the big day so they can get a better idea of what kind of weather to expect. For example, if you’re getting married outdoors in the sun, remind guests to bring sunscreen.
Indoor or Outdoor Location
It is very important that guests know whether your wedding will be indoors or outdoors so they can prepare accordingly.
How do I RSVP?
Include simple, easy to follow steps on how your guests can RSVP. This will allow everyone to follow along easily, and ensure your guest numbers are more accurate.
Are children welcome?
This can be a touchy subject for some, if you're struggling to phrase the answer 'no' politely, try Googling ways you can be creative about it!
Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?
We recommend including a live stream of the ceremony for those guests who may not be able to make your special day. Include any details guests will need to access the live stream so that it is all available in one place.
